All right, we won our division. The bad thing about it is that we have to play New York (N) in the first round. They were 98-64 this year and are widely considered the best team in the league. We slumped to finish the season and we ended at 91-72. Coach Olerud said he would rather go into the playoffs cold than hot. I hope we can take them in this five game series.

My September was my worst month of the year. I was 1-3, so my season record was just 11-6. My ERA was 3.56, which is half a point lower than the league average. I hope I can get hot in the playoffs.

Wilson ended up not winning the Triple Crown. He hit .369 (1st) with 37 homers (3rd), and 115 RBI’s (2nd). He is still going to win the MVP award. It would have been neat if he won the Triple Crown though.

Lastly, I get the start the first game of the series. I am going up against 21 game winner Mark Paniagua.
