Forgive me if this has been exhausted, but I started my first 'Historical' league last night, and I'm a little baffled by a similar situation.
I started my league in 1974, the year I was born. After sucessfully setting the league up, I looked at the career leaders board to see if it counted stats prior to 1974. I was impressed to see the batting average leaders, home run leaders, etc. until I got to pitching. Nolan Ryan had a career ERA of 0.05 or something like that with a couple thousand wins, and Charlie Hough was right there with him with a 0.06 ERA.
Is this a known bug in the Database? Or in the game? Or did something download funny? I wondered at first if it had to do with the abnormally long careers these pitchers had, but the Neikro's looked okay.
Anyone know what gives?
