I play with retire according to history and recalc on and player development off, so career ending injuries are abundantly redundant for my taste. The player is already going to retire when he's supposed to. I don't want him taken out of the database before his time thankyou very much. Go ahead and sideline him for a year and a half with a nasty injury if you want, but let me be in charge of when players retire.
