Im a total newbie to OOTP and lets just say the game is a bit overwhelming at first. Ive been playing Baseball Mogul for years and I heard good things about this game, so I'll give it a go.

2 things so far though..

1. HOw is realism? because Im currently playing in 1984 and the projected stats seem quite high (ie 55 hrs, 160 rbis, lost of guys batting .350, which is not the norm for the time). Im a stickler for realism so in 1984 those numbers dont seem real. Im not quite a 3rd through. Are their some settings I should adjust to get more in line "with the time period"?

2. Why are their mulipile scouts? I notice that my team has different scouts who project different ratings. What is with that?
