The small town of Lindsay, Ontario might seem like a strange place for 15 or 20 baseball players to gather on a November Saturday, but that's exactly what happened on November 18.
The event was the wedding of Megan Haley and Ty Williams. The bride is the younger sister of All-Star closer Tom Haley of the world champion Atlanta Braves. The groom tied for the National League lead in wins with 19, while pitching for the San Diego Padres; he's now a free agent.
Tom Haley was among Williams' groomsmen, and so was Jorge Rodriguez, the Padres' slugging first baseman. Among the other big leaguers who attended the wedding were Braves stars Jason Heyward and Kris Medlen, Padres standouts Archie Faulkner, John Darby, and John Nelson, and Cardinals star Colby Rasmus, all present or former teammates of the groom...
