Slumps happen in real life and in OOTP. But you seem to be having an average season.
FYI, the average number of runs scored in the NL in 2009 was 718. You are within 1.1% from that with two games to go. Your team is not in a slump overall. Your team is just performing at an average level.
Just having the best players in an OOTP league guarantees nothing. This is not an EA game; if your difficulty is set properly and you don't cheat, you will get your butt kicked now and then. More often, you will have average seasons...like you are.
