Atlanta Braves: Placed P Arodys Vizcaino on 15-day DL. Purchased contract of P Tony Moore from Gwinnett (AAA).

Atlanta Braves: Activated OF Jason Heyward from 15-day DL. Assigned OF Jeffrey Craig to Gwinnett (AAA).

Vizcaino was diagnosed with a partially torn labrum. He'll be out for five months, meaning he's done for the year.

The Braves lost four of their last five games and dropped into last place. I'm almost positive this is the latest in the season the Braves have been in last place since Tom arrived in the major leagues and I began paying close attention to the standings.
