So, I was reading here, and decided to take control of my fav team, the White Sox. Figured they were a halfway decent team. Got used to the options, what to control, the waiver wire, promoting/demoting players, etc. I figured out by the break, that my team is absolutely horrible! I picked up a couple people off waivers to fill voids, lost Andruw Jones, but got Dice K and David Wright for basicall Jones and a couple minor leaguers. Haven't had too many injuries, at least not enough to be 20 games under .500! The mood of my players is good, or so it appears. Any ideas on what to do to improve, or what you have done to be sucessful? My batters can't hit, my pitchers can't pitch. I just started simming everything after the break, because the season was so out of hand. I really like the game, but like some other people, just feel so overwhelmed and don't know where to start fixing. I try tweaking stuff, like loading up with right handed hitters against lefties, switching up the lineups, bringing up guys that are doing well in the minors, but it just seems like nothing works for me. My goal was to be .500, so my owner is "furious"
