Anyone designing Jerseys really needs to do themselfs a favor and check out the shading layers davwms created and posted here:

There's a ton of very talented people making Jerseys/Caps/Logos, but for my money, davs shading layers really make the jerseys stand out. In particular, the 'jersey flap' shade he posted for buttoned shirts in the second attachment is really fantastic. I admit I lower the opacity of each layer a bit, but its very easy to tweak these to your own tastes if needed.
