Every story needs an antagonist, and every great antagonist is the protagonist of his own story. As a Red Sox fan who grew up with the heartbreak of watching Steinbrenner's Yankees win time and time again, I must say this: I didn't like the man. At times, I hated him, thought he was a lying, stinking blowhard. But he deserves respect for the teams he assmebled and the legacy he leaves. The Boss was truly the protagonist of his own story. RIP, big man. Gonna miss booing you.
