Toilet. Plain and simple. An improving basketball and football team, as far as WVU goes, but that will have a big emergency brake thrown on it.
What recruits are they going to get now? Next year... hey, come to Big East... we play Pitt and Rutgers?
Will the Big East raid the MAC and C-USA? Marshall, Ohio U, Louisville? Will that help?
The Big East is in trouble.
edit: No Boston, FLa or NY TV market to sell recruits? - these guys out of high school who wanna play in the pros some day? Come to Morgantown where the state will love you (ie Major Harris) - but no one on the planet outside of the state will see you play?
The Big East brass as well of the powers that be at the respective schools will try and spin it - some how - but the fact remains that the Big East is in a lot of trouble.
