Actually no they're not. They are close but they are not the same. There just happens to be very little neutering according the Spritze's formulas for this year compared to past years. In many situations you will only see differences of a few points for batting and a few homeruns. Especially for starters who played in generally neutral ballparks. There used to be more drastic differences as everybody used to be progressed to ~550 AB, but that is no longer the case.
Take a closer look. I had to take a good look at Aaron before I realized it and actually muttered a few curses under my breath. But, they are different.
Now if you're looking at their stats in game, the years prior to the current season should be the real stats. This is intentional and something that couldn't be done last year. IF you look at their real life stats tab you will see the actual and neutralized statistics.
