Ok...I take back what I said Eriqjaffe...(in one way)
Thought I would start over updating the rosters with the new 2010 B that I installed. Made myself Commissioner and ruler of the Cubs and went to their roster and zip zip zip...made the adjustments in less than 15-20 min. So you were right.
Then made myself 'acting commiss' for the WSox. Made the changes and all looked good. Went to play the game and the WSox roster was back to where it was before the adjustments. Cancelled the game and made the adjustments again. Went to the game and they were gone again. I guess you have to make yourself the full actual Commish and owner of the team because it appears that making changes (at least for what I did) as 'acting' owner does not make the changes stick.
So after over 2 1/2 hours of working on this the past two days I then just decided to go ahead and play the game with lineups/rosters as close as I could do with the way things were. No dice. Peavy was tired...not hurt...just tired and I could find no way after searching for 10 min or more to get him fully rested so he could pitch the game. Wierd that you can adjust injuries but not tiredness. At least I couldn't.
So I just ended up playing the two teams without being very close to the actual players and lineups. As usual with OOTP 11 the game screen looks great and the game played well but it wasn't what I was aiming for. I finally just gave up and simmed the game complete after 4-5 innings.
My little desire to try to replay the actual WSox/Cubs weekend series turned out to be a strong attempt that ended in dismal failure. Oh well. Back to some normal baseball. As in the 59 World Series with Strickert's fine 59 WSeries quickstart!
