I'm trying to set up a new fictional league. I am currently running a simulation from 1900-modern day to establish a history. What fun is playing without some records to break? I have no experience as a Commissioner, so if someone else would take the torch, I would gladly hand it over. Standard MLB rules apply except for the following:
No Interleague
No DH
7-7-9 Playoffs
No wait for HOF inductees
2 Leagues, 3 Divisions each with 4 teams per division (24 teams total)
AAA, AA, and A minors
Teams Include:
NORTH LEAGUE
West:
Calgary Cornrows (Canada)
Salt Lake City Snakes
Boise Tomahawks
Portland Preadators
Central:
Omaha Uproar
Des Moines Knockouts
Winnipeg Yetis (Canada)
Columbus Clippers
East:
Brooklyn Bombers
Charlotte Crusaders
Newark Noise
Providence Metros
SOUTH LEAGUE
West:
Honolulu Heat
Albuquerque Landslide
Las Vegas Lights
Long Beach Lizards
Central:
Wichita Warriors -[Taken]
Oklahoma City Prowlers
Fort Worth Wings
Mexico City Maples (Mexico)
East:
Jacksonville Jets
Cancun Vipers (Mexico)
Louisville Sluggers
Havana Swashbucklers (Cuba)
*Team located in the United states unless noted in parenthesis
Tasteful renames are fine, as is relocation as long as there is reasonable proximity to the League Division location after the rename (i.e., if you were to relocate Jacksonville [Southeast] it would need to be to a location approximately in the same general area)
If you have interest feel free to post, PM or send me an E-Mail at
