The blown call didn't affect the outcome of the game, so it can't be overturned. What I don't get though is how a perfect game 'shows' that a pitcher is absolutely on-song. Unless they strike out all 27 batters faced they will have had to rely on at least one of the other 8 players on the field.

If that catch hadn't been made in the 8th yesterday there'd definitely have been no perfect game, but there isn't a single person on here who could say that the pitcher was in control of his destiny at that point. If the fielder had deflected that ball, he'd have got the blame for losing the perfect game, not the pitcher who left a ball that almost got taken out of the ground.
