So for example viewing line1 in the attached attachment I propose replacing the St. Louis Brown Stockings with Ft. Wayne. Line 2 and 3 shows we have two possible Cleveland Forest Cities replacements, Cleveland and Rockford. In this case Cleveland would get the nod and Rockfords players will become free agents. The first team name in any line in the attached file is the team name as it is now in OOTP and the second is the proposed new historic name.
What this change would really do is allow pre-1901 players to appear as rookies on their historic teams if one chooses not to have a non-historic draft. The rookie players on teams that do not appear on this list would become free agents.
If someone has eyes they are not currently using for any decent or indecent purpose and can give this file a once or twiceover looking for challenges, please do.
