I think Lebron could very well stay in Cleveland. This is, FWIW, his home team -- given that he is from Akron. He he does not stay in Cleveland, it is hard to say where he could go. You have the Knicks and I think they would be the frontrunner. That said, the NBA is not all about market size like in MLB. He could just as easily land in a place like Sacramento or Oklahoma City. If he wants to play in a large market, the Clippers become a contender and might help give the Lakers some competition in the LA market. However, you have many other teams that have been willing to spend and they are not necessarily in the larger markets. I do not see him going to Chicago or the Lakers.
