Fixed draw like the NCAA tournament? That would be fine, but notice in that case, it should be in the second round
1/8 vs 4/5
and
2/7 vs 3/6
As it is currently, the 2 seed generally will have an easier time.
This is something that could easily be fixed to make some sense, but it's not that big a deal, as long as there is some reason to the current system.
Why doesn't the top seed, having won every round, sometimes not get home field advantage? They did not have a losing record heads up, or ( in my league ) have lost any conceivable tiebreaker.
Does this not bother anyone else? Does it not occur when doing historical play?
