I'm finding it much easier to motivate myself to do them as I go in-game rather than if they're assignments. For some reason. One thing I've been doing lately is importing some random year and adding a bunch of guys who aren't done yet. I think I'll wait for the next release though, to make sure I'm not repeating work.
