On the other hand, there's CC and a good win tonight. So far, his turnaround from a dismal spring training performance has made up for the shortcomings of certain other pitchers, to some extent.

I had realized Johnson and Tex were in slumps, but I was unaware until I read the game recap that Jeter (2-16), Rodriguez (1-17), and Granderson (0-17) were not doing well recently, going into this game. Good game for two of those three, at least.

Gardner and Cervelli - nice surprises at the plate. Still April, but no-hit Gardner is over .300. And, time was when Posada would take a HBP and leave the game accompanied by my screams of anguish. Not so much now!

Robby, Robby, Robby. From a slim kid a few years ago to becoming a moose man today (6th HR tonight). Moose man, not MorseMoose. Studly (no offense, MM). There's, uh, no cause for concern about Cano, is there?
