Could you try to give us a bit better idea of what type of historical league you want? It's just that there are so many different ways to play this game (as many as there are people that play it I would say) that it would really help the people trying to help you if we had a better idea of what you want out of this game.
There is an excellent "help" folder located in the OOTP Baseball 11 folder in User Documents > Out of the Park Developments. I would start with the adding_historical_leagues document from which you can link to sub pages. It will help you narrow down what you want a bit, you'll figure some things out and if you don't understand something specific, you can always come back and ask what it means or how to make it do what you want it to do. I know what you're thinking: "Thanks a lot for nothing jerk"

Trust me, it works better this way. If you fumble and stumble your way towards what you want asking questions as you go, you're probably more likely to get where you want to go and get the game you want rather than playing it the way somebody else likes to.
