There are two databases that ship with the game: Real Stats (Lahman Database) and Neutralized Stats (Spritze/Garlon Database). Both of them contain every player that ever played from 1871 through 2009. Lil' Joe will be there automatically from 1963 through 1984. I'm assuming that's the Joe Morgan you want and not
this one.
