Keeler picks up 2000th hit of his career

'Wee Willie' Keeler of the Buffalo Bisons went 2-4 in a 7-3 victory over the Washington Capitals, and finished the game with his 2000th hit of his career. At 28 years old Keeler continues to be one of the better hitters in the league, and is second on the Players League hit list.

Jesse Burkett of the Baltimore Terrapins scored the 1000th run of his career.
