I tend to keep my fictional leagues smaller so that I can more easily customize the leagues (logos, unis, etc...) - like 16 teams or less. If I plan on playing out the games, I go to less games (like 100-120) so I can play more seasons before I burn out. If I sim, then 154 or 162 is common for me.
