And yet, I still haven't seen anyone who isn't English (apart from the odd foreign Man U fan) complain about either of Rafael's cards. There might be valid complaints that the referee didn't give out
more cards than he did, but you will always get a card (occasionally a red one) for kicking another player away from the ball, and you will always get a card for pulling an attacker's jersey after he gets past you. It's that simple.
