That's a pretty obvious solution that unfortunately is not practical for someone living on temporary disability. I've got 2 GB RAM, a 1.90 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 Processor on Windows Vista, etc. so, while it's not a beast, it's not terrible.
It shouldn't run as slow as it does, in my opinion. I have other graphics intensive games that run more smoothly with shorter load times. Thanks for the advice though. But I'm still wondering if the new version is made to run faster than OOTP 10.
(By the way, I run a 20-team league with 4 levels of minors and HS and college feeders. That's it.) And yes, I'm drooling right now at the thought of 24 seconds.
