Its a horrible idea. Still, anything that gets the Pirates into their rightful NL East position is good in my eyes.

Still annoys me to no end that Atlanta got in the NL East after being in the NL West and being geographically further west than Pittsburgh in the 1993 re-alignment, who was tossed from the NL East to the NL Central with such close-by rivals as Houston and St. Louis...

Once Milwaukee got tossed into the mix it was even stupider...the Pirates had no reason to remain in the NL Central at that time. What matter does it make if its the Central or the East with 6 teams? That move killed all three of our rivalries. 18 years later and we still don't have any sort of rivalry in the Central...18 years of lousy play has much to do with that, but Cincinnati being the only team remotely close to us has more to do with it. Bah.
