I myself prefer seeing the numbers too. In general, I like seeing clear pertinent information. Same with the play by play. I only want to see information that has some affect on how I will play the game.
That being said, these are my opinions. Some will agree with me and some won't. I think it is good that you express what you like better on the forums, that is how they see what people like. But there will be times when things are changed not to your liking. It doesn't make Markus and everyone evil. They just make changes to the game that they believe the majority of the people will like. Unfortunately sometimes we are not in the majority. Othertimes their judgement may be wrong, but since they do all the work and take all the risk it is their choice to make.
