I'll throw my voice into this thread, just so that there's an "official" post in here. First, thanks to all of the folks who helped out in this thread, there's a lot of good info in here!

Regarding this, it does seem like there is a problem with that box score. As some have mentioned, the box score IDs are recycled each year, but obviously that's not expected to cause any problems. If your league is still at a point where I could see this, you could FTP me a full copy of your saved game, and I could take a look.

I agree with SteveP and others, we should double-check your settings here before looking at other possibilities.

Can you describe the rigamarole you had to go through a little more precisely? When a player's time on the disabled list has ended, if there is space on the 25-man roster, you should be able to just right-click him and select Transaction --> Place on Active Roster. When a player goes on the 60-day disabled list, they are removed from the 40-man roster. When the player's DL time is up, the game tries to put him back on the 40-man roster. However, if your 40-man roster is full when this occurs, you must make room on your 40-man roster for the player. I suspect that's what you ran into.
