Trolleys tie the series in second straight extra inning affair

For nine innings the Capitals and Trolleys matched each other pitch for pitch, and run for run, ending regulation in a 3-3 tie. Both Ned Garvin of the Trolleys and Jersey Bakely of the Capitals were pitching well, both allowing only one earned run, and a pair of unearned runs.
The Trolleys exploded in the tenth inning though, hitting seven straight singles to score 4 runs off their former ace Jersey Bakely and even up the series. With the series heading back to Cleveland the Trolleys felt good about splitting the two games in Washington.
Game 3 will feature a rematch of game 1 between Cy Young of the Trolleys and Pink Hawley of the Capitals
