2009 IPA Pro Cup Playoffs

Tycobbian Union Final 4 Series

Turon Forces 7th Game, Lemaire Beats DC 7-2
A masterful pitching job by Turon's Jacques Lemaire forced a decisive seventh game in the Tycobbian Union Final 4 Series... Lemaire fired a five-hitter to beat Denton City 7-2 and evened it up at three games each... Lemaire (3-0 3.09) struck out nine and walked three in the victory... at the plate the Typhoons were paced by 1B Johnny Carducci (.279) and 3B John Cottrell (.375) with two RBIs each... Turon slapped 11 hits... Taking the loss was starter Tom Duroncelay (1-2 5.06), who was ripped for six runs in two innings... Duroncelay also issued 6 walks in a dismal performance... Game seven will be played tomorrow afternoon at Douglas Denton Field in Denton City.
