Round 3:

Francesco Damiani vs Domenico Adinolfi - Damiani was in with a tough customer in Adinolfi. Adinolfi took it to Damiani through most of the fight, scoring a flash knockdown in the 8th round. Damiani countered effectively throughout. In the 10th round Damiani landed power shot after power shot until the referee finally stepped in to stop the fight for the 10th round TKO!

Primo Carnera vs Franco DePiccoli - Carnera survived a 1st round knockdown to score 3 of his own, including 2 in the 8th round, the final one for the 10 count!

Luigi Musina vs Dante Cane - Musina survived an 8th round knockdown and the constant pressure from Cane. Using guile and speed he was able to use effective counterpunching to steal rounds. The judges scored this very close fight 9-4, 7-7, 8-6 for Musina.

Alfio Righetti vs Charley Massera - A clash of heads caused a bad cut on Massera's forehead in the 6th. Righetti had seemingly built up a lead when the fight was halted in the 8th and sent to the judges for a technical decision. The judges scored the fight 5-2, 3-4, 5-1 for the winner by Split Technical Decision, Righetti.

Piero Tomasoni vs Guiseppe Ros - Tomasoni was the crisper more accurate puncher and showed better ring generalship than Ros in his 10-4, 6-8, 8-6.

Santo Amonti vs Giacomo Bozzano - Amonti dropped Bozzano 2 times in the 5th, 2 times in the 9th, was dropped by Bozzano in the 11th, then dropped Bozzano one more time in the 13th. Somehow it went to the judges who scored it 6-8, 7-6, 9-5 for Amonti.

Franco Cavicchi vs Arthur De Kuh - Dominant performance by Cavicchi who scored 2 knockdowns before cutting De Kuh badly above the right eyebrow in the 11th to end things for the TKO. Cavicchi was up 8-2, 9-1, 9-1 through 10.

Erminio Spalla vs Paolo Vidoz - Spalla scored 2 knockdowns in the 7th and another in the 15th before sending things to the judges who scored it 9-6, 8-7, 10-5 as Vidoz worked hard to keep in the fight throughout.
