Back to OOTP after a while off, I wonder if the troubles with re-importing the databases still exist or if this thing has been fixed by any of the patches.

I would like to update the names database over the course of my historical league every 10 or 20 years to have more realistic fictional player names generated, but I remember to have read that there were serious issues with this thing before the patch. Having read the list of bugfixes in the patch description, I haven't found anything about it, so I would appreciate some feedback from somebody who uses this feature (or doesn't use it because it is still broken ...)
