I created a 1961 historical league and downloaded the historical picture packs. I was looking thru the rosters for each team when I noticed that Bob Gibson (stl) had the pic for Bob Gibson (mil). The easiest way would be to use the in-game editor and change one of the Bob Gibsons name, hopefully it is something that won't bug you. To get to the editor go to manager>options and check commissioner mode. Then go to the player card you want to change and you will have a editor tab that will allow you to edit the player's name.
If it were me I'd rename the Mil. Bob Gibson (I wouldn't want to change a hall of famer) to one of the following...
Bob Gibson Sr.
Bob Gibson Jr.
Bob Gibson II
Then rename his picture
Bob_Gibson Sr..png (or whatever name you choose).
Put a new StL Bob Gibson picture in your player photos named
Bob_Gibson.png
The Mil. player will then use the
Bob_Gibson Sr..png picture, and the hall of famer from StL. will use
Bob_Gibson.png
When you're done changing names make sure you go back and turn off commissioner mode.
