- Shorten the game. Less commercial breaks, it was disgusting to listen to the Niners/Seahawks game on the radio last weekend and be informed at least 4 or 5 times during the broadcast that a play was waiting and the players were doing nothing because of a TV time out. Just ridiculous.
- Shorten the play clock. One of the things I absolutely hate about football is the ability for a team to eat up the last 4 or 5 MINUTES of a game while only running a handful of plays because they wait for 44.5 of the 45 second play clock to run off.
- Stop protecting certain players, specifically quarterbacks. It's damn near impossible to tackle a QB now without a penalty. A late hit is one thing, but getting hit is part of the friggin game.
- QUIT FINING PLAYERS FOR CELEBRATING. IT'S A GAME FOR CHRISSAKES. I don't care how many times OchoCinco has been fined already, it's utter rubbish that he's fined $30K for wearing a sombrero on the sideline after scoring, and yet Tommie Harris was fined "only" $7500 for THROWING A PUNCH AT AN OPPONENT.
