I did not talk trash about the US. I stated that they are inconsistent which is true.
The US also has a very poor record when they play away from North America. To go far in the WC you also have to play European teams which the US is also has a poor record against.
They received a good group pairing but all of the positive talk in the press about a cake walk is unwarranted.
