IPA Pro Cup Series Down to Four Clubs
The teams in the IPA Pro Cup Series have been whittled down to just four teams. Claxton, Volusia, Bayview and Turon have made the cut for the Final 4 which gets underway today. They are just one series away from the Pro Cup Finals which will decide the overall champion of the Islandian Pro Alliance. Volusia won the Pro Cup in 2001 and Turon took it in 2003.
Representing the Ruthlandian Union will be the Volusia Vigilantes and the Claxton Diamonds. The series will open up at Avalon Stadium in Claxton for the first two games. The V's (88-66) finished second to Middlefield in the RU West, while the Diamonds (96-59) were runner-up To Valka in the RU North.
Over in the Tycobbian Union the Bayview Vikings (89-65) will go up against the Turon Typhoons (89-65). The Vikings will be the home team in games one and two because they won the season series between the two clubs 4-2. The TU Final 4 will begin today at Downtown Plaza Stadium.
