Two singles, an error and Danny Nash's (.268) sac fly cut the margin to 2-1 in the second frame. The Roosters tallied two more in the seventh when Hicks (.133) batted in a run and 2B Timmy Gage (.345) singled in another one. In the last of the eighth 1B Allie Ludlow (.322) finished the scoring for the day with a two-run roundtipper, his 6th of the playoffs. With it Ludlow now has the most postseason RBIs with 18, one more than Phil Coniglio (.322) of Denton City.
