Maurice Hope vs Wayne Alexander - Hope threw twice as many punches as Alexander, landed more than 3 times as many punches and landed the stronger punches with 3 knockdowns enroute to a dominating 12-3, 14-1, 12-2 decision.

Nicky Wilshire vs Adrian Stone - Wilshire handled Stone with applomb though Stone had some good moments before he was knocked down 2 times in the 7th round, the final one for the count of 10. Wilshire had a 4-2 lead on all 3 cards at the time.

Final:

Maurice Hope vs Nicky Wilshire - Hope came out fast, hurting Wilshire then keeping the pressure on, sensing the kill early. Throughout the round Hope stayed on top of his man until a wild right hook landed flush on the chin of Wilshire putting him down and out with 17 seconds left in the round! In winning the Jr. Middleweight berth he landed 56-85 punches.
