Semi-Finals:
Nigel Benn vs Richie Woodhall - The fans were on their feet throughout most of this fight as Woodhall was not intimidated by the highly reguarded Benn. None the less, Benn gradually wore him down as he pulled ahead before scoring his first knockdown in a great 11th round! Then in the 14th Woodhall was knocked out of the ring, and was unable to answer the count of 10 in time!
Chris Eubank vs Carl Froch - Eubank spent the night making Froch look amateurish as he literally boxed his ears off, using the entire ring while landing an amazing 60.9% of his punches to only 20.3% for Froch. The judges scored the bout 12-3, 11-4, 12-3 to set up the Finals against the 2 top seeds.
Final:
Nigel Benn vs Chris Eubank - Benn was patient, stalking the clever Eubank. Effectively cutting off the ring, he nearly closed both eyes, then in the 14th cut his eyebrow then scored a pair of knockdowns, with the final one being for the count of 10 with 22 seconds left in the round! Benn moves forward to the World Tourney, and is expected to go deep into the field.
