Allan Vester vs Chris Christensen - Both men went at it with furious intent, but Vester was the more dominant, taking a solid lead before the fight was ended due to a horrid cut over Christensen's right eye. Score it a 8 TKO for Vester who makes the 8 man tourney.

Round 1:

Thomas Damgaard vs Allan Vester - Damgaard scores a pair of knockdowns in a dominating decision 11-3 on all 3 cards.

Frank Olsen vs Christian Bladt - Olsen was fortunate, as most observers felt that Bladt handled him in this 7-6 (bladt), 7-7, 7-7 majority draw. Rematch at the end of the round.

Al Hasan vs Joergen Hansen - Hansen held off a tough Hassan for a 7-6, 9-5, 9-5 decision.

Waldemar Holberg vs Gert Bo Jacobsen - Holberg cut up Jacobsen in this one, building up a lead, then held off a furious charge (including a knockdown in the 15th round!) to win a narrow split decision 8-6, 6-7, 8-6.

Rematch:

Christian Bladt vs Frank Olsen - Both men went back and forth in this hotly contested bout that I scored 7-6 for Olsen. The judges scored it 7-7, 8-5 Olsen, 7-6 Bladt and we have a 2nd straight draw! Rematch Coming up.

Rematch Part Deaux:

Christian Bladt vs Frank Olsen - Another very close bout ( I had it even) that the judges saw going Bladt's way. In the 13th round however, Bladt headbutted Olsen, cutting him badly. Olsen became incensed, going after Bladt with everything in his arsenal, battering him until Bladt's corner threw in the towel for the 13 TKO!

Round 2:

Thomas Damgaard vs Joergen Hansen - This fight had enough knockdowns to please the most jaded fan as Damgaard and Hansen tore into one another with reckless abandon throughout! Damgaard survived 3 knockdowns by the hard itting Hansen before putting Hansen away for a 10 count in the 10th round on his 5th knockdown!

Frank Olsen vs Waldemar Holberg - Holberg took the first round, and looked well on the way to taking the 2nd when he threw a low blow that was totally blatent to earn a DQ. Olsen's voice sounded much higher than normal during the press conference afterwards.

Final:

Thomas Damgaard vs Frank Olsen - Olsen was rocking Damgaard in this good action bout, frustrating him along the way when for the 2nd straight fight Olsen was the victim of a debilitating low blow. Damgaard was disqualified sending Olsen to Team Denmark as the Welterweight entrant.
