There have a few discussions on this. But the general consensus seems to be these guys can be effective starters. Ideally, they would gain a third and/or fourth pitch along the way to cement their ability to start. But even if not, if they are good enough, they will probably still be effective starters. Maybe not as good as they would be as a closer, but probably still good.
