On a related issue, I loved the idea of limiting reserve roster size that was incorporated into OOTPX. But I'd assumed that the limit was going to be anything I wanted, down to zero. It's not, the minimum is 15. As far as I'm concerned that's the same as not having a limit at all. I've got little indy leagues in my universe operating on shoestring budgets, paying players a couple $thousand a year, and they have 15 man rosters plus 15 man reserve rosters.
So we're still stuck with a situation that indy teams have to have 30+ players under contract. This doesn't model a real team having to beat the bushes for a fill in when their LFer breaks his leg, and it means you will have players who sign 4-year deals and never play a single game.
