Here's the list. Now it makes sense why the Astros added the GCL team but I am not sure why they have a SA and an Advanced rookie league.

Rookie leagues that could be reclassified as SA (Rookie Advanced)
Appalachian
Pioneer

Rookie
Gulf coast League
Arizona League

Advanced rookie is not really the same as Short A but it is close most advanced rookie leagues are second year players drafted from high school. SA are mostly new college players. The problem is that not every team has a SA club. I think many teams that do not have SA clubs use advance rookie in the way a team with a SA club.

Essentially this means 4 SA leagues and only 2 rookie leagues but it gives more accuracy to the way the system is used although not accuracy in name or structure.

Now if we can just get an advanced A designation in the game.
