Bullies 1-8 Hollers – Piggville SP Blondie Ferguson (.222,1,5) made sure of her first win as a starter by crushing a 3-run home run in the 3rd, that in and of itself proving enough to beat the one measly run Grimside managed today. 3B Bossie Clementine (.250,2,8) also jacked one as the Pigs raced to an early 7-0 lead and cruised behind the efficient pitching of Ferguson the rest of the way. Salemwich had little to answer the challenge of Moe, save for CF Muscles Mason (.345,3,14), who went 3-for-5 and is fast establishing himself as one of the better leadoff men in the game. Floyd, who had suffered through a recent 2-for-19 slump, has rebounded to go 6 for her last 12 – all over 3 games against Bumpkindale pitching. RF Pepper Dotson (.320,5,23) had no extra-base hits, but added 2 RBI to the effort to aid the steady pitching of K Queen Blooey Blackman.
