MONTH IN REVIEW
I'm so glad it's over. We went a miserable 9-19 in June to put our record at 37-42. Amazingly, we're only 5.5 out. Our pitching staff really struggled that month. Buehrle was 0-3 with a 8.14 ERA, Colon was 1-3 with a 6.00 ERA, and Danks was 1-3 with a 5.28 ERA. 17 of our 25 games this month are against teams in our division, so by the time the deadline comes around, we should have a good idea if we have a chance or not. Right now I'm not very confident, but who would be after that kind of month. Hopefully we'll still be in contention when Quentin comes back in 4 weeks.
