Buehrle disappointed again. He only lasted one inning, gave up 5 runs on 4 hits. Granted, 4 of those were unearned after Wise dropped a fly ball by Franciscothe first batter. However, someone of Buehrle's caliber should be able to pitch around something like that, but he didn't. The Indians added another run in the fourth, and after that our bullpen held them scoreless. We tried to stage a rally in the fifth, thanks in part to a Jermaine Dye 2-run homer, but we could only score 4 of the 6 we needed.
