Hi. Need some guidance. Not sure how to do this......

I want to start a standard 2009 mlb game, with current players but then create a new team to manage in the NL central.

Comm mode is on and I know how to create the actual team. But do I need to start unemployed in order to then become GM? And how do I become GM of this team?

Also if I don't want to fill roster with fictional players or free agents, what exactly will the expansion draft do?
