There have only been two matches that English-speaking US residents could see so far, and neither has been terribly exciting. There isn't much to say about the Gold Cup from a US perspective, either, since it's pretty much the "B" team in the squad. CONCACAF made some exceptions to the US roster to allow for the Confederations Cup, but most of the top US players are back with their clubs. To a lesser extent, that seems like it holds for the rest of the teams there, too; Honduras didn't have Wilson Palacios or David Suazo with their team, for example.

There are definitely some guys there who are making a push to fill out the potential World Cup roster -- Santino Quaranta and Kyle Beckerman looked good last night -- but I don't think most of these guys have realistic shots at a lot of playing time. It was definitely interesting to see how much better the US team looked after Benny Feilhaber and Charlie Davies entered the match (and Freddy Adu exited), though.
