Three teams are open heading into our 2018 offseason. Milwaukee's GM since the start of the league has stepped down from the post this offseason, but left a very good team that has won 2 world series titles and fronts a 1-2 of Strasburg and Gallardo. Baltimore is a contender, although their division is tough. STL needs some work, has a nice farm.

We've been active since the real-life 2007 MLB offseason, which was when I originally made the file. At the time, I took an old version of cubbyfan rosters and heavily modified + added to them (they were very outdated at the time, nothing against Cubbyfan, wherever he lurks nowadays).
Since then, atleast 200+ real prospects (guessing on the number honestly, but it's around there) have been added to the league through various draft classes and/or offseason free agency.
All of that said, obviously this is an MLB-based sim akin to real life, and while we're in 2018, there are still a lot of real players left. Most of the guys were accurately rated and developed nice over time. Not everything is perfect, but I'm happy with how the league is playing out for a non-fictional, current sim league. Aging/Developmental sliders have worked out nicely, as stars often play into their lates 30s or early 40s for us.

I know this is a lot of useless info, and I've tried these boards before... but I realize it's hard to get excited about joining a league that's already ran for 10+ seasons. It's obviously not ideal for most people to take over someone else's team. By posting all of this random crap, yet again, I hope something will catch someone's eye this time and they might want to give it a chance. Believe me, I know how it works. Most everyone who plays 6.5 has their one or two leagues, and doesn't want to budge-- I'm no different (right down to the 2 league theory).

But hey, if you're one of the rarities, and have room for another league or are looking to jump back into OOTP... give us a shot. All we ask is that you stay active within the community, and play it cool with everyone.
